Do I have to remove the band from the cigar to submit a match request?

Some users have asked us whether they are required to remove the band from the cigar to have it matched by our experts. Since some users do not wish to remove the band until they are done smoking, you can submit a Match Request of the band on the cigar instead. 

We do not require you to remove the band from the cigar, however, this is often helpful in providing an accurate match.

If you do not wish to remove the band when requesting a Match Request, we recommend saving the band or taking a picture of it off the cigar once you are finished smoking in case we need to follow up for more details about the cigar.
